Wellington Takakura

After working as an accounting supervisor in Brazil for eight years, Wellington noticed that something was missing in both his career and personal life. In 2010, he made the decision to leave his job and challenge himself by moving to Australia. His first challenge was to learn English so that he could find a job, and secondly, the adaptation process proved to be much more challenging than expected. The original plan was to return to Brazil after six months of learning English, with the hope that this would enable him to build a better career in Brazil.

However, Wellington fell in love with Australia and decided to extend his stay. He pursued a Diploma of Accounting, a Certificate IV in Business, and then a Masters of Accounting. The challenges did not end there. The next step was to secure a job in accounting to become familiar with Australian business culture and put into practice everything he had learned from university, combined with his professional experience in Brazil. His first accounting job in Australia lasted for three months as an intern at a bookkeeping firm. After the three-month internship, he was employed as a junior bookkeeper for two years before joining The Accounts Studio.

Since joining The Accounts Studio, Wellington has not stopped developing his professional skills in order to alleviate the stress and hassle of bookkeeping for his clients. In 2019, The Accounts Studio merged with Carbon Group to launch Carbon Sydney. Wellington became a partner, and his career continues to thrive.
